§ Mrs. Chalker[pursuant to her reply, 24 January 1983]: Yes. The new carriageway surfacing is primarily of brushed concrete but, as is customary, consists of asphalt on bridge sections and where it joins the existing carriageway. The surfacing complies in all respects with my Department's standard specification for such works.
