§ Sir Nigel Fisherasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will estimate the cost of rehabilitating the Falkland Islands.
§ Mr. RaisonSubject to parliamentary approval, £15 million has been allocated for civil rehabilitation costs. This is in addition to compensation payments for damage to private property. The sum takes account of requirements identified in the past six months and I hope it will prove sufficient.
