§ Mr. McMahonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will ensure that the area formerly occupied by the White City greyhound track will be used only for the purpose of the green belt to supplement that which was lost at the time of the construction of Renfrew motorway phase 2.
§ Mr. Allan StewartIt is in the first instance for the City of Glasgow district council as planning authority for the area to determine the use to which this site may be put. If the district council were to refuse an application for planning permission for development of the site, the 319W applicant would have a right of appeal to my right hon. Friend, in which event all relevant considerations would be taken into account before a decision was reached.
