§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithThe proposal from the Rayner scrutiny team is to transfer the work of the Humber laboratory to Aberdeen, where there is vacant space at the parent Torry laboratory. It is not possible to predict the340W number of redundancies that might be necessary if it is decided to implement this proposal. This would depend on the opportunities that might arise in this or other Government Departments for redeployment of the staff concerned.
