§ Mr. Bestasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, pursuant to his answer of 22 December, Official Report, c. 601, what talks he has so far held with interested states to seek a resolution of Her Majesty's Government's reservations on certain provisions of the United Nations convention on the law of the sea; and what further talks are planned.
