§ Mr. Marlowasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer which members of the European Council have indicated that they do not accept Her Majesty's Government's policy of seeking a lasting solution to the problem of United Kingdom budgetary imbalances and implementing such a solution as soon as possible.
§ Mr. RidleyI believe that all member states would like to see an early and lasting solution. The differences of view concern the nature of the solution.
