§ Mr. Peter WalkerThe Government's expenditure plans will be announced shortly in their annual White Paper on public expenditure. Within the totals agreed for agriculture, fisheries and food, provision will be made for additional expenditure for the improvement of marketing and for the replanting of existing apple and pear orchards, as announced in my statements of 8 June and 8 November respectively. Provision will also be made for the continuation of hill livestock compensatory allowances at their existing levels.
