§ Mr. RaisonThe contract to supply and erect 27 prefabricated houses in the Falkland Islands was let by the Crown Agents. It is not their usual practice to disclose publicly the value of tenderers' bids other than for the successful tender, although they remain ready to de-brief216W individual tenderers on request. The contract was awarded to James Brewster Associates Ltd., who submitted a tender of £2,133,570, on the basis of a consideration of all the relevant criteria including the quality of the product offered as well as the price, as my predecessor has already informed the hon. Member.
