§ Mrs. ChalkerUnder section 81(2) of the Road Traffic Act and regulation 25 of the Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations it is an offence for any person to sell, offer or expose for sale any cycle rear lamp if it does not comply with the British Standard 3648. I am taking steps to remind those concerned with the supply of cycle lamps, and the enforcement authorities, of this legal requirement.
