§ Mr. GummerA consultative document containing proposals for regulations on the classification, packaging and labelling of dangerous substances was published in December 1981. The Health and Safety Executive has almost completed its detailed evaluation of comments and aims to submit revised proposals to the Commission as soon as possible with a view to having regulations made during the summer.
Proposals to control the conveyance by road of packaged dangerous substances are still being formulated in consultation with both sides of industry.
