§ Mr. Alexander FletcherI am very concerned about the high levels of unemployment in Glasgow and we are already devoting very considerable resources to tackling the problems of the area. As part of a special development area, the city benefits from the maximum possible levels of Government assistance, and the Scottish Development Agency is actively involved in several projects in Glasgow which collectively should help to provide badly needed jobs for the city. For those unable to find a job the full range of special employment and training measures are available and have been greatly expanded in recent months.
