§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeAdministrative expenditure by family practitioner committees is already cash limited. Independent consultants are currently reviewing arrangements for forecasting and control of expenditure on family practitioner services including the possibility of operating a cash limit on part or all of the expenditure. I look forward to receiving the report and will consider it carefully before deciding on any further action.
