§ The Prime MinisterFrom 2 April to 23 December 1982, I answered approximately 220 parliamentary questions directly or indirectly related to the operations in the South Atlantic, including the Falkland Islands. My hon. Friend, the Minister for the Civil Service stated on 13 July 1982 that the average cost of a written answer is assessed at £37 and an oral answer £60.
