§ Sir Hector Monroasked the Secretary of State for Transport if, in view of the traffic congestion caused, he will take steps to remove the traffic lights at the junction of Hyde park corner and Park lane.
§ Mrs. ChalkerThese lights were installed by the Greater London Council, the authority responsible for these roads, after full consultations with the Metropolitan police. The council and the police are monitoring the situation carefully before deciding what further action to take. They are keeping my Department informed.
