§ Mr. Dobsonasked the Secretary of State for Employment whether the current arrangements under the youth opportunities programme for reimbursement of travel expenses over £4 per week are to be retained in the youth training scheme.
§ Mr. Peter MorrisonA decision on this issue will be made in the summer. Until then unemployed trainees 519W receiving training under the scheme will be treated as though they were on the youth opportunities programme and will be reimbursed travel expenses in excess of £4 per week.
