§ Mr. MacfarlaneThere was a series of meetings between my Department and representatives of farming, landowning and conservation bodies prior to the recent publication of the financial guidelines. I have also 461W discussed the implications of the Act with the Countryside Commission and the Nature Conservancy Council in determining the resources to be made available to them during the forthcoming financial year.
