According to the latest available statistics, the number of terminal passengers using Manchester international airport in each of the years 1978 to 1982 was as follows:

1982	5,155,961

The 1982 figures were supplied by Manchester international airport. The other figures were supplied by the Civil Aviation Authority. The latest CAA figure for 1982 covers only the months January to October, and was 4,520,929.
