§ Mr. Speedasked the Secretary of State for Transport what was the amount spent on publicity by his Department over the past six months explaining the new seat belt laws and the new motor cycle laws, respectively.
§ Mrs. ChalkerThe estimated amounts in the last six months were £689,950 on seat belts and £77,100 motorcycling. In addition £51,400 was spent earlier in connection with the introduction of the two part test for motorcyclists.
