§ Mr. MellorThe report of the review has been the subject of widespread consultation within the prison service. We are at present following up the detailed recommendations aimed at improving the procedures and documentation for categorisation and allocation decisions, and facilitating recategorisation and transfer to lower security establishments in the course of sentence.
