§ Sir Patrick Wallasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what reply has been given to the request of the Government of Malta that there should be no contact between the United Kingdom high commission and the Opposition in Malta.
§ Mr. HurdWe have informed the Maltese authorities that the activities of the British High Commission in Valletta will continue to be guided by the Vienna convention on diplomatic relations. We believe that the matter has now been resolved satisfactorily.
