HC Deb 21 February 1983 vol 37 c312W
Lord James Douglas-Hamilton

asked the Attorney-General what are the present salaries for judges and county court judges in England and Wales; and whether there are any proposals for a review of their salaries.

The Solicitor-General

A list of the current salaries of all judges in England and Wales was attached to a written answer given by my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister on 12 May 1982—[c.257–262.] The Review Body on Top Salaries submits annual reports to the Prime Minister on the remuneration of judges and others and is expected to submit a report in the normal way within the next few months. There are no further proposals at present for a review of judical salaries.
