§ Mr. Spearingasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he made arrangements to forward to the Falkland Islands copies of the Official Report relating to each of the four full day debates in this House on aspects of the Falkland Islands; and how many copies of each day's debate were despatched prior to 1 February.
§ Mr. OnslowA copy of the weekly edition of theOfficial Report is despatched to the Civil Commissioner as a matter of course. In addition, in view of the particular local interest in the economic development programme for the Falkland Islands, arrangements were made to send him 22 extra copies of the Official Report dated 22 December 1982, which recorded the one-day debate on the Shackleton report. Arrangements were also made to send extracts from three of the four debates in question by telegram.
