(2) what estimates he has made of future levels of beer production; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mrs. FennerBeer production in the United Kingdom in 1982 was 36,532,000 bulk barrels, a reduction of 1,182,000 from the 1981 figure. This represents a fall of 3.1 per cent. My Department does not prepare estimates of beer production, but the Brewers' Society has recently said that there are signs the trade could level out in 1983.
