§ Mr. Giles ShawIn 1982–83, the inner London boroughs and ILEA are likely to receive about 4 per cent. of block grant. In 1979–80 there were different grant arrangements. In particular, no rate support grant was paid to GLC, ILEA or to the Metropolitan Police. It is not therefore possible to make comparisons.
