§ Mr. Brocklebank-Fowlerasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will consider presenting an annual report to Parliament on the activities of his Department which will include up-to-date information on aid disbursement and commitments and an evaluation of the current British aid projects.
§ Mr. RaisonIn the observations—Cmnd. 8734—presented to Parliament in November 1982 on the second report of the Foreign Affairs Committee 1981–82 on the Supply Estimates 1982–83 the Government indicated that they accepted in principle the Committee's recommendation that
a descriptive annual report of the activities of the ODA should be published for wide circulation".We are now considering how best to take this forward.
