§ Mr. Campbell-Savoursasked the Prime Minister if Her Majesty's Government have any information as to whether Argentina has any outstanding contracts for the supply of arms to that country which could have been cancelled prior to its reaching agreement on the recent loan from the International Monetary Fund.
§ The Prime MinisterWe are aware that Argentina has certain outstanding defence equipment contracts. We do not know the detailed contractual terms which would partly determine whether cancellation was feasible.
