§ 53. Mr. Hooleyasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will raise in the Security Council the threat to peace arising from repeated and continuing attacks on neighbouring countries by South Africa.
§ Mr. OnslowAny state in southern Africa which is a member of the United Nations may bring to the attention of the Security Council any situation which endangers the maintenance of international peace and security. Lesotho recently took such action. We would not normally consider it necessary or appropriate to seek to do so on another state's behalf.
