§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Prime Minister, pursuant to her reply to the hon. Member for Hartlepool (Mr. Leadbitter) on 1 February, Official Report, c. 57, if she has now obtained a copy of the transcript of Mr. Straight's interview; if it reveals any new information about national security; and if she will publish the transcript in the Official Report or place it in the Library.
§ The Prime MinisterI have not yet received a transcript of this interview; when I do I will arrange for a copy to be placed in the Library. As I said in my reply to the hon. Member for Hartlepool (Mr. Leadbitter), reports so far available to me suggest that the interview contained no new information which has implications for British national security.
