§ Dr. Roger Thomasasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he is now in a position to give details of the guidelines for the police on the use of hypnosis in interrogation and other information gathering procedures.
§ Mr. Staintonasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will now make a statement regarding the guidelines to police on the use of hypnosis in gathering evidence in serious crime following his reply to the hon. and learned Member for Burton (Mr. Lawrence) on 22 November 1982, Official Report, c. 327, and arrange that the guidelines be available to hon. Members in the Library.
