§ Mr. Allen McKayasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he has any plans to review the Town and 287W Country Planning (Fees for Applications and Deemed Applications) (Amendment) Regulations 1982 in relation to their effects upon the glasshouse sector of agriculture.
§ Mr. Giles ShawThe regulations are being reviewed in the light of responses to a consultation paper issued last year. The position of glasshouses is receiving particular attention. The results of the review will be incorporated in new regulations which will be laid before Parliament very shortly.
