§ Mr. Peter MorrisonAs the result of the recommendations of a recent Rayner scrutiny, the Manpower Services Commission has been reviewing the operation of a number of jobcentres in small towns and rural areas, including Freshwater. However, the proposals resulting from the review, which have recently been published as a basis for consultation with interested parties before final decisions are taken, do not include the closure of Freshwater jobcentre.
