Mr. Gwilym Roberts

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what are the latest figures available for the consumption of United Kingdom-produced coal in Northern Ireland.

[pursuant to his reply, 3 February 1983, c. 154]: The tonnage of coal, including smokeless fuels, imported into Northern Ireland from the National Coal Board for the year ending December 1982 is as follows. Actual consumption figures will vary slightly from the figures given due to year end stock adjustments.
