§ Mr. Adleyasked the Prime Minister what information she has as to how many other European Community Governments include within their ministerial teams a Minister with the sole or main task of disseminating Government information; and in how many cases the title of such a Minister is the equivalent of Minister of information.
§ The Prime MinisterThe Federal Republic of Germany has a Government spokesman of Cabinet rank. This is the only example amongst our European Community partners of a Minister with the sole or main task of disseminating Government information. The Prime Minister of Luxembourg is the only other Minister who reflects his responsibilities for information and the press among his titles.
