§ 23. Mr. David Marshallasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make a statement on the future involvement of both the Government and the Scottish Development Agency in the Glasgow eastern area renewal project.
§ Mr. Allan StewartThe Government and SDA remain committed to the GEAR project. At a meeting of the governing committee last month, at which a wide-ranging review commissioned by the Agency was discussed, all participants agreed that the project should continue and will meet again in June to consider a programme of priorities for the period to 1987.
