(2) how many council houses have been sold since 1979 by Manchester city council; and if he will give details of the types of dwelling and the areas where houses have been sold or are in the process of being sold.
§ Sir George YoungI refer the hon. Member to the table showing dwelling sales from 1 April 1979 to 30 September 1982 reported by each local authority, placed in the Library following the reply that my hon. friend the Minister for Housing and Construction gave to my hon. Friend the Member for Reading, North (Mr. Durant) on 25 January 1983—[Vol. 35, c.409.] Available information on the type of dwelling sold separates houses and flats: Manchester City Council has not yet provided this breakdown up to September, but of 2,333 sales up to 30 June 1982, 11 were flats. Information is not collected from authorities about the area where the dwellings are situated.
