§ Mr. Leadbitterasked the Prime Minister if she will seek to obtain a transcript of an interview on Canadian television with Mr. Michael Whitney Straight; and if she will assess whether the content of the interview has any implications for national security.
§ The Prime MinisterI am seeking to obtain a transcript of Mr. Straight's interview. Reports of the interview already available to me suggest that it contains no new information which has implications for British national security. If it proves to be otherwise when the full transcript is available, I shall let the hon. Gentleman know.
