asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science (1) what percentages of primary schools were built before 1900, 1915, 1939, 1944, 1960 and 1974, respectively;

(2) what percentages of secondary schools were built before 1900, 1915, 1939, 1944, 1960 and 1974, respectively.

Information is not available in the form requested. However, a sample survey of schools in England and Wales undertaken in 1975 gave the following indications of the age of school buildings:
