§ Mr. ScottMy right hon. Friend has no plans at present to visit Her Majesty's prison Armagh. However, in the course of my duties as the Minister responsible for prison matters under the Secretary of State, I last visited the prison on 3 August, and shall make future visits from time to time.

§ Mr. ScottAll the women prisoners in Armagh prison are housed in single cells, while the male orderlies share dormitory accommodation. All the sentenced prisoners are working normally, and there is a full programme of educational and recreational activities.
