Mr. McNamara

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland (1) whether he will proscribe the Ulster Defence Force;

(2) whether any of his officials have spoken, or intend to speak, to representatives of the Ulster Defence Association on the subject of the establishment of the Ulster Defence Force; and if he will make a statement;

(3) if he will make a statement about his policy towards the new paramilitary organisation, the Ulster Defence Force.
