HC Deb 20 December 1983 vol 51 c151W
Mr. Wilson

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether (a) roof space inspections and (b) definitions of the extent of garden areas are always taken into account by district valuers when placing values on public sector houses.

Mr. Peter Rees

[pursuant to his reply, 19 December 1983]: In Scotland, roof space inspections are generally made and garden areas as defined are also considered in arriving at the open market value of the property.
