HC Deb 20 December 1983 vol 51 cc194-5W
Mr. McCusker

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what records are kept of imports of agricultural products across the border into Northern Ireland.

Mr. Butler

[pursuant to his reply, 19 December 1983]: Her Majesty's Customs and Excise maintains records of all United Kingdom imports and exports, of goods, including imports of agricultural products across the border with the Republic of Ireland. However it is not possible to separately identify those imports destined for Northern Ireland from those destined for other regions of the United Kingdom.
