§ Mr. Austin Mitchellasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer when he expects the quinquennial review of the Treasury model of the economy to be completed and the results made available to users for simulation purposes.
§ Mr. Peter ReesThere are no regular quinquennial reviews of the Treasury model which is updated and developed on a continuous basis by Treasury economists. Currently this work includes adapting the model to use national accounts data which have recently been rebased on 1980. The national accounts are normally rebased every five years.
