§ Sir George YoungPublic expenditure plans are expressed in cash terms. Cost terms figures are not kept by my Department at the level of disaggregation of table 2.7 or for years prior to 1977–78. Table 1.14 of Cmnd. 8789–1 provides cost terms comparisons for programme totals including housing.
