asked the Prime Minister at what cost she is introducing six polygraphs at Government Communications Headquarters, Cheltenham.

The Prime Minister

The Security Commission recommended a pilot scheme covering the security service at the Government Communications Headquarters to test the feasibility of polygraph examinations in the context of security screening. Equipment for this purpose has been purchased at a cost of US $25,000.

Mr. Dalyell

asked the Prime Minister if responsibility for Government Communications Headquarters, Cheltenham remains with the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs.
