§ Mr. Giles ShawThe value of all assets disposed of by the National Coal Board and its subsidiary companies since 21 May was of the order of £19 million. This includes routine sales of land, vehicles and buildings, and also the sale of the board's interest in Associated Heat Services. The board has been asked to seek disposals, in addition to normal disposals of land, vehicles and buildings, worth £10 million during the coming year.
§ 27. Mr. Ron Daviesasked the Secretary of State for Energy what are his latest estimates for the outturn of capital investment in the coal mining industry in Wales for 1983–84 and for capital investment for 1984–85.
