§ Mr. Simon Hughesasked the Secretary of State for the Environment why the annual report of the Building Research Establishment for 1981–82 was not published until Octover 1983; and if he will seek to ensure more timely publication of these reports in future.
§ Sir George YoungThe BRE annual report is a summary of highlights of what has been done at the establishment, already published in individual reports and digest etc. The priority has been given to issuing these individual reports but I agree the delay for 81/82 was excessive. We expect the 1982–83 annual report to appear in April 1984.
