§ Mr. Beaumont-Darkasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will make a statement about the meeting of the European Community Finance Council in Brussels on 12 December.
§ Mr. Ian StewartI attended this half-day Council. After a short discussion, the Council adopted the528W Commission's annual economic report. Ministers also discussed the operation of the Community loan mechanism but no decisions on this were taken.
