§ Mr. Tony Banksasked the Secretary of State for the Environment how much money, at current prices, has been 458W 1986. Implementation will be fully effected when all exempted discharges have been brought under control. The timing of this will be a matter for consultation.
It is for water authorities to estimate and meet their own costs in this connection. It is the firm intention that overall these should be contained within reducing total real operating costs.
