HC Deb 13 December 1983 vol 50 c408W
Mr. Michie

asked the Secretary of State for the Employment what action has been taken by the Health and Safety Executive to ensure that organisations which have employed the person named and organisation named in the letter from the hon. Member for Sheffield, Heeley of 2 December take the remedial action necessary to protect people at work.

Mr. Gummer

The Health and Safety Executive has been assured that the person named in the letter from the hon. Member dated 2 December 1983 no longer undertakes work for the organisations which might have employed him in the past. The projects for which he undertook analysis have long since been completed and remedial action is therefore inappropriate.

Should the hon. Member have any particular concerns, I should be glad to take these up with the Health and Safety Executive.

Mr. Michie

asked the Secretary of State for Employment what action has been taken by the health and Safety Executive against the person and the organisation named in the letter from the hon. Member for Sheffield, Heeley of 2 December.

Mr. Gummer
