3. Social Security Benefits (Interim Payments) Regulations 1981: recovery of interim payments made during emergencies.

4. Social Security (Claims and Payments) Amendment Regulations 1981: extending the maximum period for which an unemployment benefit claim may run in abnormal circumstances.

10. Social Security (Contributions) Amendment (No. 7) Regulations 1983: changes in the rebates on National Insurance contributions for mariners and members of HM Forces.

*11. Supplementary Benefit (Single Payments) Amendment Regulations 1983: provide that single payments shall not be payable for medical, surgical, optical, aural or dental requirements.
